Intellectual property rights
On November 30th, the e-talk will cover intellectual property rights, all the way from idea to production and sales. Doing things right in the fashion industry, includes knowing what ideas to protect having a commercial perspective on creativity. This webinar explains how you may set viable and commercial goals, always with a knowhow on property rights. Being aware of ways to do this all through the creative process, will help make implementation at the market a whole lot easier.
Moderator of this webinar is Dorota Stępniak, with many years of experience as a curator and event manager within the creative industries. You will also meet both Maxi Bohn and Konrad Gliściński, the later and legal counsel expert and the former a fashion brands consultant.

Dorota Stępniak
Curator and event manager
Supporting industry since 2003, the moderator of this e-talk is a well-experienced curator and manager of events in the creative industries. Author of numerous texts, and a journalist, juror and conference moderator. She works with experience marketing and experience design. Her involvement with the creative industries especially includes design, fashion and photography. She’s been the curator of such projects as “Body, Overload, Human” and “Distribution of Resources II”. She supports businesses as a strategy consultant, also supporting media, for example with Design Alive and Architecture Snob Magazine. As an advisor for one of the major event agencies in Poland, she supports in creating and consulting event projects and project concepts. This includes creating coherent concepts from ideas, through substantial and graphic design to final implementation.
She is also founder and long-time manager of the Łódź Design Festival and have managed projects such as: Lodz Design, Fashion Week Poland, Undiscovered & tre. -

KONRAD GLIŚCIŃSKI
In-house legal counsel at Jagiellonian Center of Innovation group and PhD student in Civil Law Department, Jagiellonian University.
He graduated from Law and Administration Faculty in Intellectual Property at Jagiellonian University and has performed postgraduate studies of Commercial Companies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He is a graduate of Top500 Innovators programme at Stanford University, related to research management and commercialisation. In 2010 he was awarded a Minister of Science and Higher Education prize in a competition for the best master thesis, organised by the Polish Patent Office. The latest courses organized by Konrad Gliściński are on “Specialist advice on legal issues and intellectual property rights in running your own creative activity” for Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
