Organised by USAID’s TRADE project in collaboration with the Apparel Export Council of Egypt, Modacc have organised the Showroom: Made in Egypt. This is an event that showcases nearly 30 Egyptian manufacturers. During the event, you can see the garments on display and talk to the manufacturers about possible collaborations to manufacture in Egypt. Egypt has both the largest and most productive cotton and textile clusters on the African continent and production all the way from of threads, fabrics, filament yarns and fibers to the finished fabrics and garments. In addition, the country is also an important export center to Europe, the Arab countries, the United States and to Africa.
