The 18th Textile ETP Annual Conference takes place as a physical event, May 14 – 15 2024 in Mechelen, Belgium.
Over two days, the event will present the EU Textile Research Partnership, the first EU funding program exclusively for the textile sector, and showcase the successes of textile start-ups supported by the European Innovation Council. We will explore the industry’s future amidst technological shifts, new regulations, and evolving business models through plenary lectures, thematic sessions, and panel debates. The event also offers the opportunity to take part in networking opportunities and a site visit to Hogent’s FTILab+.
We welcome our members as well as other professionals interested in sustainable textile innovation, EU research funding opportunities and the fascinating world of textile start-up and scale-up businesses from all over Europe. In these 2 days, we will:
- present the EU Textile Research Partnership, the first ever EU research and innovation funding programme fully dedicated to the textile sector
- celebrate the increasing success of textile start-ups and how they overcome funding and scaling challenges with support from the European Innovation Council
- discuss the future direction of an industry disrupted by major technology shifts, a new regulatory regime and non-traditional business models.
