Agència de Desenvolupament del Berguedà (the Berguedà Development Agency) was created in 2013, in a partnership of the Berguedà Regional Council, 31 town councils of the area, the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, the Berguedà Regional Business Association, the trade unions UGT and CCOO and the Berguedà Tourism Association.

Its mission is to coordinate, lead and implement projects that the region needs for its economic and business development. The vision of the agency is to become an essential actor to increase competitiveness, economic and social cohesion of the Berguedà region enhancing cooperation among the economic actors.
