The Terrassa Institute for Textile Research and Industrial Cooperation (INTEXTER) is an academic unit of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia created in 1962. The main objective is to promote research in the textile and related sectors, as well as industrial cooperation by conducting tests, appraisals, standardisation work, and certification.

The Intexter offers companies and national and international organisations support and expertise within the development of projects, tests, technical reports, assessments, surveys, expert opinions and other works. The Intexter is committed to a continuous improvement of processes, setting objectives and providing the necessary resources to achieve customer satisfaction.
