CNA Federmoda
The 34th edition of the Concorso Nazionale Professione Moda Giovani Stilisti
January 25, 2024

The Italian national competition for young fashion designers conducts its 34th edition this year.

The CNA Federmoda continues its commitment in connecting the professional world with young talent. Specifically with the CNA’s Union of Fashion Industry Companies’ 34th edition of the National Competition Fashion Profession for Young Designers (in Italian: “Concorso Nazionale Professione Moda Giovani Stilisti”). And in a broader aspect with the RMI program, Research Fashion Innovation 2024 (in Italian: “Ricerca Moda Innovazione”).

Young Italian Talents
The Competition is intended for Italian students younger than 25 on 31/12/2023 – enrolled in the last year of Upper Secondary School and students enrolled in Post-Diploma Institutes and University Faculties. The National Competition is segmented in five product sections: Clothing and Knitwear, Fur, Underwear and Resort wear, Leather Goods and Footwear, and Accessories (jewelry, costume jewelry, and eyewear). Among the prizes for the winners of the competition’s sections, there will be internships, scholarships, software from the company Pro2Dev, and moments of visibility in the context of events such as Maredamare, Milano Fashion & Jewels, Milano Jewelry Week,  and Immagine Italia & Co.

The overall winner of the Competition will have the opportunity to participate in international events as part of the collaborations that CNA Federmoda has established on the international scene, such as the Mozambique Fashion Week.

Finals in July
The highlight of the event will be the presentation of the projects and the awarding of the winners in Rome in July.
The final phase of the Competition represents an important showcase for the new talents of the sector. Here the selected students engage in a series of events, attending the “MASTER IN FASHION DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE by CNA Federmoda”, with the presence of professionals and experts in the sector as teachers.
