ACTE Europe Strengthens Its Network with Seven New Members and Expands Its European Reach
ACTE Europe continues to reinforce its role as a key platform for cooperation within the European textile ecosystem with the incorporation of seven new members from the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland. This expansion brings the total number of member organisations to 29, representing a broad range of institutions, associations and textile territories across Europe.
This milestone comes six months after the City Council of Mataró assumed the presidency of ACTE Europe for a three-year term, consolidating the association’s commitment to international collaboration and strategic dialogue within the textile sector.
As part of this new phase, ACTE’s Executive Committee met on 24 November to approve the association’s 2026 budget and unveil a renewed corporate image, aligned with its evolving European mission. During the meeting, it was also confirmed that the next General Assembly will take place in Brussels in June 2026, where key European policy developments affecting the textile and fashion industry will be addressed.
In parallel, a recent institutional visit to Belgium enabled the Mataró delegation to engage with relevant European stakeholders, including representatives of the Government of Catalonia to the European Union and leading textile universities. These exchanges aim to strengthen cross-border cooperation and promote knowledge sharing within the sector.
The integration of new members and the reinforcement of international relations reflect ACTE Europe’s ongoing objective to expand its network, foster collaboration between textile territories and actively contribute to the sustainable development and competitiveness of the European textile industry.
