ACTE representatives from North Macedonia, Portugal, Italy and Sweden visited two of the larger textile stakeholders in the Sabadell area. The visits were part of the ACTE general assembly – held in Igualada, Spain.
The first study visit took place at Hilaturas Jesús Rubio S.A., an internationally renown company specialising in carded yarn.
The second study visit went to the Escola Superior de Disseny ESDi. Here the Deputy Mayor for Economic Promotion and City Projection, Lluis Matas Bertran, and the Councilor for Economic Development of Sabadell City Council, Antonio Rodríguez, gave the delegation an official welcome to the area. They also manifested their support to the university’s School of Design .
The general director of Fundit, Georgina Bombardó Codinach, and the academic director of ESDi, Francisco Gil, presented the institution to the ACTE visitors. The school also showcased interesting projects linked to textiles and fashion.
